Police singer Nam Tae-hyun and broadcaster Seo Min-jae arrested on drug charges

Singer Nam Tae-hyun (28) and influencer broadcaster Seo Min-jae (29) have been charged with drug use and other charges.

According to the police on the 26th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul plans to summon and investigate the two men on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

Seo posted posts on his Instagram account on the 20th, such as “Nam Tae-hyun’s methamphetamine” and “I have a syringe I used in my room or company cabinet.”

Seo later posted similar posts one following another and then deleted them.

Netizens who saw the post reported it to the police, and the Yongsan Police Station investigated the man before he was arrested.

On the 21st, a group of students preparing for the bar exam filed a complaint with the National Investigation Headquarters on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act with Nam and Seo and a third party who supplied them with drugs.

After working in the idol group WINNER from 2014 to 2016, Nam currently belongs to a band called South Club.

Seo made his name known by appearing in Season 3 of Channel A’s ‘Heart Signal’ in 2020.

The two are said to be currently dating.
