The Criminal, Misdemeanor and Misdemeanor Prosecutor’s Office 35 of Buenos Aires, in charge of Celsa Ramírez, charged two dentists who treated minors and performed orthodontic treatments with illegal practice of medicine, without having a license to do so, the Ministry reported today. Fiscal Public (MPF).
During the inspection of the clinic, located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Liniers, supplies and expired medications were seized, including syringes, needles, distilled water, phosphate cement, dental radiographic developer, acrylic and others, with expiration dates ranging from year 2012 to the present.
Meanwhile, the office was closed due to lack of authorization.
The case was initiated by the complaint of a woman who reported that she took her daughter to the office and, following undergoing a medical practice, the minor had to be hospitalized for an infection.
Those responsible were charged with illegal practice of medicine and were summoned to appear at the prosecutor’s office next week.
The inspection was coordinated by the Judicial Investigations Corps of the MPF and included the participation of the National Directorate of Authorization, Control and Border Sanitation of the Ministry of Health of the Nation, the Division of Contraventions and Offenses Against Public Order of the Police of the City and control agencies of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires (GCBA).
