According to the Ukrainian operator, fires on the territory of the Zaporizhia thermal power plant, located near the nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine, twice caused the disconnection of the last line of communication connecting the site to the electrical network.

Later in the day, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced that the last cable supplying electricity to the nuclear power plant was working once more, reports Archyde.com.

Ukraine informed the IAEA that the ZNPP, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, lost connection to the power grid at least twice during the day but is currently back on.
