Gold prices today, Thursday, August 25, 2022

We publish the latest update in gold prices in the morning trading today, Thursday, August 25, 2022, following an increase of regarding 5 pounds, to record gold in Egypt today, 21 karat, regarding 1080 pounds, with the return of the high demand for gold in Egypt.

Gold prices today:

Carat 18 records 926 pounds.

21 caliber records 1080 pounds.

24 carat records 1235 pounds.

The gold pound is 8640 pounds.

In spot trading, gold prices rose during trading today, Wednesday, in light of the stability of the dollar and relinquishing some of the gains it recorded earlier in the session, with attention shifting towards the Jackson Hole conference.

Spot gold rose 0.24% to $1,751.85 an ounce, following rising 1% in the previous session.

US gold contracts rose to $1765.5 an ounce, which contributed to compensating the precious metal for some of its losses, coinciding with the stability of the dollar index near 108.6 points, following rising today to 109.112 points.

The markets are waiting for Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s speech during the Jackson Hole conference to pick up signals related to the monetary policy that he will adopt to control inflation.
