PostFinance: an outage affects several systems, including Twint and postomats

The financial subsidiary of the Post Office ensures that it is working “hard to solve the problem”. Online banking services are restored.

PostFinance has been experiencing a Swiss outage since the followingnoon which affects several systems. Postomats are particularly affected, as is Twint.

“At the moment, various PostFinance systems are not available. The reason is a technical problem – cause unknown. We are working hard to solve the problem and we apologize for the inconvenience suffered”, indicates the financial subsidiary of the Post Office on its Twitter account.

Contacted by Keystone-ATS around 6:00 p.m., a PostFinance spokesperson said online banking services were restored. He had no information on the Twint system, while the postomats still did not work, according to him.
