NNA – The National Scientific Advisory Committee on Agriculture held a meeting chaired by the caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Abbas Al Haj Hassan, the first of its kind, and aims at “a true partnership in formulating an integrative academic agricultural vision between professors in their various agricultural specializations in all its branches and between the Ministry, including its expertise, As well as keeping pace with the Ministry’s activities and facing the current and future challenges of the Lebanese agricultural sector.
The committee is composed of a group of experts and university professors in various specializations and from the universities of Lebanon.
The meeting is a step that will be complemented by periodic meetings that will be announced later as a permanent committee that will help formulate national agricultural strategies for the renaissance of this sector and its role in the renaissance of the entire Lebanese economy.
