Ferran Soriano, CEO of Manchester City, has once once more spoken regarding the player’s future Bernardo SilvaAfter his association with the move to leave and move to Barcelona.
The Portuguese midfielder was previously linked with the possibility of leaving the Etihad Stadium, last summer, and moving to Barcelonawhere he wants to join the Catalan club.
But that move was not done in the end, and Bernardo Silva remained with Sky Blue, and despite that, speculation renewed once more in the current summer transfer season.
Various press reports indicate that Barcelona wants to include Bernardo Silva before the end of the summer transfer season, on the first of next September.
And it wasn’t just Barcelona, as reports emerged that Paris Saint-Germain made an offer to Manchester City for the same player.
“There are no discussions or talks regarding Bernardo Silva, there are no talks regarding that,” Ferran Soriano said in comments published by journalist Fabrizio Romano, citing Spanish sources.
“The Manchester City transfer market can be considered closed, it’s over,” he added.
