Association announced Saudi Professional League The name of the league changed this season, following four years under the name of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Cup League.
In its statement, the association said that a new sponsorship agreement was signed with Roshen, the national real estate developer and a company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund.
The agreement includes sponsoring the title of the league for a period of five years, with a value of 478 million Saudi riyals, so that the new title will become the “Saudi Roshan League”.
Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Afaleq, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Professional League, expressed his happiness with the continuation and development of the partnership with Roshen Company, following the success achieved during the last season, and the achievement of the previous agreement for all its objectives, and the aspirations of both parties.

He said, “Our relationship with Roshan represents a special value, as we succeeded together in creating a qualitative partnership, and this had the effect of enhancing the market value of a league that is considered the best and most followed in the region.”
Roshen enjoys strong contributions in supporting sports in the Kingdom. In addition to sponsoring football activities, Roshen is a founding sponsor of the Formula 1 circuit in Jeddah, which has attracted millions of viewers from around the world, in addition to its multiple contributions in the areas of social responsibility.
Tomorrow, Thursday, August 24, the Saudi Professional League kicks off the 2022/2023 season, with a confrontation between Al-Fayha and Damak, starting at 7:05 KSA, 6:05 Cairo time.
