New Delhi> For the second day in a row, Vice Chancellor Prof. Governor’s insults once morest Gopinath Ravindran and historian Irfan Habib. The governor, who repeated the allegation that the VC and others were involved in the conspiracy behind the usurpation attempt, has also raised a new argument that the woman who was present at the meeting had spoken obscenities.
The VC was reassigned once more as a reward for attacking him. The Governor also claimed that the Sarva Kalashala Act amendment is to appoint the relatives of those who need it. He has received a letter from the Leader of the Opposition in this regard. But the governor softened his earlier stance of not signing the bill, and took a new stance that he will see the bill first, check every single thing, and sign it only if he upholds the essence of the constitution. The governor said that Irfan Habib did not have the courage to protest when Prime Minister Narendra Modi quoted Maulana Azad at the Aligarh Muslim University.
The governor added that Kerala has the ideological backing to provide a platform for any protest. He said that Irfan Habib and his team can go on a pilgrimage in Kerala and he is sure that the government will not take any action. If they were in UP, they know how the Yogi government is facing. That is why they are not protesting – alleged Arif Muhammad Khan.
