American pop star Taylor Swift continues her success, as she will teach the lyrics of her songs alongside the authors of literary giants such as Chaucer, Shakespeare, Coleridge and Keats, in a course dedicated to students of the University of Texas.
The course, which is scheduled to start next fall, will include a critical reading of the work of pop icon Taylor Swift, focusing on her music and cultural contexts, in an attempt to understand her work, according to the British “Sky News” network, on the University of Texas website.
One of the aspects that the session will focus on is the poetic form and style of Swift’s songs from her most famous albums such as “Red” and Louvre.
The singer cemented her reputation by receiving an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from New York University earlier this year.
It is worth noting that educational institutions have previously offered Swift-specific courses, such as New York University, which provided a curriculum for the singer and her experience as an entrepreneur in the field of music, and the factors that contributed to the success of her business.
