In early May, Jennie and V were caught up in dating rumors when a photo taken on Jeju Island resembling the idols spread on online communities. At that time, YG Entertainment commented briefly that they had nothing to say on the matter.
Rumors recently resurfaced due to a photo circulating online on August 23 showing people resembling the two at a hair salon and that BLACKPINK will be heading to the United States a day following V’s departure to New York on August 24.
In response to the reports, a source from YG Entertainment simply commented, “BLACKPINK will be departing the country on August 25, and they will be busy taking on a busy schedule in the United States, including performing MTV Video Music Awardsas well as promotional activities for your second full-length album”.
