Lost dog was called off on bus, enthusiastic citizen rescued and found dog owner

[Animal News]When encountering lost animals, they are decisively rescued and returned to their owners. A white dog got lost yesterday and got on a K17 bus at Tai Po Market MTR station, but when the driver told him to get off, he got off on his own. An enthusiastic citizen rescued him in time and found that there was a sign with the contact number written on his collar, and the dog owner was successfully contacted to bring the dog back. The dog owner said that the dog ran out of the house when he was urinating, and he thanked the enthusiastic citizens for helping him rescue him so that he might go home so quickly.

A member of the public uploaded a photo of a white dog with a red collar and a bell on a bus on the “Tai Po TAI PO” Facebook group yesterday, saying that a dog got onto the K17 bus from Tai Po Market MTR Station and was caught. The driver told him to get out of the car, and the dog got out of the car obediently, asking if anyone had lost the dog.

Later, an enthusiastic lady rescued the dog and found the contact number on his collar, so he successfully contacted the dog owner to get him back. The owner of the dog told this newspaper that the dog ran away while urinating in the garden at home, “This is not the first time he has run away, and I mightn’t trap him, so I helped him hang up a collar with a contact number. It was also the second time he got on the bus, probably because the bus was air-conditioned.”

She also described the dog as if nothing happened when he got home, “He loves to run around, and he is not afraid when he sees wild boars and monkeys. He is no longer lost.”
