Liverpool legend criticizes Manchester United for Casemiro: he was never a great player

Graeme Souness, the legend of Liverpool, criticized the contract Manchester United With Brazilian international Casemiro, during the current summer transfers.

Casemiro joined Manchester United for 70 million euros from Real Madrid, 60 million of which are paid immediately and 10 million in bonuses and incentives.

In statements to the British “Sky” network, Souness said: “Casimiro played with great players at Real Madrid, but he is not a great player, and he was never a great player.”

He added: “I think he was a lucky player to be in a team like this Real Madrid, I never remember that he was a star in Real Madrid, it was a great work going back to Benzema and the other players.”

He noted: “He does not have Casemiro Great pass accuracy, and I don’t think he will make his Manchester United teammates play… He’s a classic midfield, he’s 30 years old, and I don’t know how to pay 70 million euros to sign him.”

He concluded: “Maybe Manchester United give defensive solidity, but the team will not play the ball better when Casemiro has the ball.”
