It was around 8:30 p.m. that the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) received a call concerning a man who had been stabbed in an alley on rue Forest, near rue Garon.
The victim, a 31-year-old man, reportedly sustained upper body injuries and was taken to hospital, where there are no fears for his life.
“Everything suggests that it would have happened during a quality flight,” said Gabriella Youakim, spokesperson for the SVPM.
An investigation was opened and a security perimeter was erected.
Two armed attacks in the area
This incident occurred just two days following a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the upper body in the same area.
Having suffered serious injuries, the latter was still fighting for his life on Monday evening.
