Bad news for owners of a diesel car.
The average diesel price was €1.84 per liter on August 19, up 2.8% in seven days, the data shows. from the Ministry of Ecological Transitioncollected every Friday and published on Monday 22.
Conversely, the decline continues for the SP95-E10 and the SP98. The first sold on average at €1.7306/L (-0.32%) and the second at €1.8332/L (-0.5%).
Two months down
After months of increases and new records broken every week, the curves have been falling for regarding two months. For diesel, this is the first increase since June.
Oil prices, which had jumped following the war in Ukraine, have recently calmed down. The move is fueled by fears over the level of demand due to the bleak outlook for the global economy.
At the peak of the price increase, diesel sold on average at €2.1407/L in March, SP95-E10 at €2.0960/L in June and SP98 at €2.1989/L in June too.
Higher pump discount from September 1
The discount of 15 euro cents (excluding tax) per liter of fuel, implemented on April 1, will change from September 1. The aid will increase to 30 cents until October 31, then to 10 cents in November and December.
It concerns diesel, fishing diesel, non-road diesel (GNR), gasoline (SP95, SP98-E5, SP-95-E10), liquefied petroleum gas fuel (LPG-c), natural gas for vehicles (CNG) in compressed form ( CNG) or liquefied (LNG), super-ethanol (E85) and diesel ethanol (ED95).
