FilGoal | News | Tuttosport: Because of Milik and Arnautovic, Juventus freeze Depay’s deal

Juventus decided to freeze the transfer of Memphis Depay from Barcelona due to the desire to include Arcadius Milik or Marko Arnautovic instead.

Juventus continues its negotiations to include one of the strikers in the current summer transfer market.

And Italian newspaper Tuttosport revealed that Juventus will not make its final decision until following the technical approval of Massimiliano Allegri, coach.

The report indicated that the Depay deal was frozen and negotiations were suspended during the past 48 hours following the previous negotiations.

Depay’s agent had traveled to Italy during the last period to negotiate with Juventus over personal details.

This comes following Depay got the green light from Barcelona to leave as a free agent if an agreement was reached with Juventus.

The agreement between Juventus and Depay was to sign the player for a period of two years in addition to an option for a third season with a salary of 7 million in addition to bonuses.

The report revealed that Depay’s position on paper is the lowest at the present time. Negotiations may be opened once more, but the matter is currently suspended.

Juventus is seeking to get Milik on loan from Marseille with an obligatory purchase clause.

Juventus puts the current Bologna player, Arnaovic, as a possible alternative if no agreement is reached with Marseille on the transfer of Milik.

Juventus is considering including Daniele Rugani in the Arnautovic transfer deal in order to convince Bologna.

Arnautovic played three matches this season and scored two goals with Bologna.

As for Milik, he has not scored in the two matches he played with Marseille in the French League so far.

But Milik scored 48 goals during his career with Napoli and assisted 5 others in 122 games the team played.
