“Ground Services” losses fell 28.2% to 66.9 million riyals in the second quarter

The company’s losses declined Saudi Ground Services “Ground Services” increased by 28.24% in the second quarter of 2022, to regarding 66.85 million riyals, compared to losses of regarding 93.16 million riyals in the second quarter of 2021.

The company attributed, in a statement to “Saudi Tadawul”, today, Monday, a decrease in losses as a result of an increase in the company’s sales by 120.9 million riyals, or 32.3%, due to the continuous recovery of the aviation sector as a result of the announcement of the lifting of precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona pandemic.

It added that this had a positive impact on the decrease in operating losses to reach losses of 11.3 million riyals, compared to losses of 63.4 million riyals for the same quarter of last year.

On a quarterly basis, ground services losses increased by 251.6% in the second quarter of 2022, compared to losses of regarding 19.01 million riyals in the first quarter of 2022.

During the first half of this year, the losses of “ground services” decreased by 21.8% to regarding 85.86 million riyals, compared to losses of regarding 109.85 million riyals in the first half of 2021.
