Girl group Black Pink’s new song ‘Pink Venom’, released on the 19th, topped Spotify’s ‘Top Songs Global Chart’, the world’s largest streaming platform, for two days in a row.
According to the agency YG Entertainment on the 22nd, ‘Pink Venom’ was streamed 6,717,000 times the previous day.
On the first day of release, it reached 7,937,36 episodes.
YG Entertainment explained, “It has decreased slightly from the first day, but it still played more songs than any other female artist from around the world released this year.”
Spotify is a platform that is reflected in the ‘Hot 100’, the main single chart of the US Billboard, so the chart performance is also of interest.
‘Pink Venom’ also topped the iTunes ‘Top Songs’ chart in 74 countries around the world, including the US and UK.
As a result, it topped the ‘Worldwide Song’ chart for the second day.
