From Hawaii.. Try the delicious chicken and pineapple skewers

This grilled meal is tender, sweet and delicious. It’s easy to make and requires only a few ingredients. It is famous for the Hawaii region.

Here’s what you’ll need:

3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons sherry
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Half a teaspoon of ground ginger
Half a teaspoon of garlic powder
8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves – cut into 2-inch pieces
1 (20 ounces) drained pineapple chunks

Preparation:

In a shallow glass dish, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, sesame oil, ginger and garlic powder. Toss chicken pieces and pineapple in the marinade until well covered. Cover and leave in the refrigerator for at least two hours.

Heat the grill over medium to high heat.

Grease the grill grate with oil. Mix chicken and pineapple alternately on skewers. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the chicken juices run out.
