The Saudi index closed down 0.5% as oil prices fell

The Saudi Stock Exchange index closed today, Sunday, with a decline of 0.53% to reach 12,554.50 points, coinciding with a decline in international oil prices. Shares of Saudi oil giant Aramco fell 0.8%, Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company “Petro Rabigh” 0.9%, Saudi British Bank (SABB) 1.1%, Banque Saudi Fransi and Alinma Bank 0.8%, and Mobily Communications 3.6%.

Oil prices closed largely unchanged on Friday, but incurred weekly losses on the rise of the dollar and fears that the economic slowdown will weaken demand for crude.
