On Sunday morning there was a fatal car accident in Klingnau AG. As Bernhard Graser, spokesman for the cantonal police in Aargau, told BRK News, a man was driving a Mazda from Klingnau towards Koblenz. On the out-of-town route, the driver left the road for reasons that are still unknown and crashed into a concrete wall “with full force” at a level crossing. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.
The deployed patrol found the man unresponsive. The fire brigade was able to rescue the driver from the car wreck, but any help came too late for him, according to Graser. The Aargau cantonal police are still working on identifying the driver.
