Russia is the largest nuclear power in the world – it cannot be isolated. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.

“All these loud statements regarding the isolation of Russia are an occasion to show that this is far from being the case and it is quite difficult to achieve this. Speaking regarding our country, this is almost impossible, because we are the largest nuclear power, the largest country in terms of area, with a well-developed military-industrial complex,” Shoigu said.

Western countries began to call for the isolation of Russia following the start special operation in Ukraine. However, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed that a country like Russia cannot be isolated.
