Young woman was paralyzed after going to the chiropractor

The 28-year-old woman had four cut arteries in her neck, but it is being investigated whether the injuries are related to the intervention of the professional.

A woman from 28 years was paralyzed following a routine appointment with a chiropractor on June 16, in Georgia, United States.

The recent graduate of Georgia Southern University, Claitlin Jensenvisited a chiropractor for a “neck adjustment“, according to a page of GoFundMein order to raise funds.

After adjustment, Jensen “got sick” and was hospitalizedwhere tests revealed that he had four dissected arteries inside the neck.

This damage led to cardiac arrest and stroke.as well as a loss of pulse for more than 10 minutes,” the fundraising page reads.

“Once doctors were able to stabilize Caitlin, they rushed her into surgery. Doctors were able to repair some tears and they placed a stent in an artery,” his family recounted in the GoFundMe text.

As Jensen’s mother pointed out to WSB-TVdoctors believe that the cerebrovascular accident of the young woman it happened “as a direct result of the neck manipulation”.
