Persistent descent against dollar and franc

The euro continues to slide once morest the franc and the dollar. The dwindling confidence of investors in the euro zone is considered to be one of the main reasons.

The euro is becoming weaker and weaker once morest the franc. This week, one euro was only worth 0.9605 francs at times. The European single currency has thus fallen to a record low once morest the Swiss franc. Ulrich Leuchtmann, economist at Commerzbank, wrote in a comment regarding the “one-way street euro – franc” – for the common currency it leads downwards. In mid-September last year, 1,0932 francs were still being paid for one euro.
