The assailant was identified as MK, 19 years oldfrom the town of Humboldt, located 60 kilometers west of the provincial capital.

The former high school student knew well the route that was made every Friday transferring the students who left Franco to San Javier where, in addition, the murdered driver lived.

To escape, MK took the students hostage that were on top of the combi and thus began a chase along Provincial Route 1.
