Czech president leaves hospital – Al-Ittihad newspaper

President Milos Zeman left the Central Military Hospital in Prague on Friday following a one-day stay, the Czech news agency reported.
Zeman, 77, is wheelchair-bound and last year spent more than six weeks in hospital being treated for a serious, undisclosed condition that has caused temporary concern regarding his ability to perform his duties.
Zeman has powers that include appointing prime ministers and central bank governors, but most of the executive power is in the hands of the government.
Zeman’s last five-year term ends in March next year.
The president’s spokesman did not respond to a Archyde.com request for comment.
