Minutes earlier, the eviction of the constructions -called “VIP takeover” due to the size of the houses located in an area where construction is prohibited-, where part of its inhabitants would have tried to prevent the operation.
Police Public Order Control (COP) personnel were deployed in the sector of the Playa Blanca Sub-Commission in Antofagasta, to help carry out the eviction, which was requested by the Seremi de Bienes Nacionales, as it is a fiscal land.
