Access to Jean-Doré Beach, on Île Notre-Dame, has been closed by the City of Montreal and the Ministry of the Environment and the Fight Against Change (MELCC) due to bacteriological contamination “high”.
“The analysis of the samples taken on August 15, 2022 showed that the bathing waters of this beach did not comply with the bacteriological quality standards established by the Ministry”, indicated the MELCC, in a press release Thursday morning.
The population is required to refrain from bathing there, until a notice to the contrary is broadcast.
