The Death of Anne Heche is classified as an accident, according to information relayed by several American media. The American actress was pronounced dead following being seriously injured in a car accident in Los Angeles on August 11. But she didn’t die instantly. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s report, the actress died of toxic smoke inhalation and her injuries.
According to the same report, the actress was pronounced dead on Thursday, August 11, a day before her disappearance was announced. Nevertheless, she was kept in an artificial coma for a few days to facilitate organ donation.
Despite the announcement of the opening of an investigation in order to be “presented to the appropriate judicial authority”, the police did not give details of these possible consequences.
Cocaine and fentanyl positive
The first tests on the body of the deceased proved positive for narcotics, according to local media. According TMZ, Anne Heche tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl, a very powerful and addictive synthetic opiate used in certain treatments. However, further tests should be performed to ensure that the positive results are not related to any medical treatment.
