The entity indicated that these exercises are intended to deepen cooperation between countries, improve the level of strategic collaboration and strengthen the ability to respond to various security threats.
The military maneuvers promoted by Vladimir Putin in his territory were baptized as “Vostok 2022” (East 2022), and will take place between August 30 and September 5.
In the exercises, which will be carried out in thirteen polygons -as reported by Russia-, there will also be ground and air troops from Tajikistan and Mongolia, among other countries.
This announcement comes two days following the Chinese Army carried out military maneuvers around Taiwan, in actions taken following the visit to the island of the president of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, considered by Beijing as a “farce”. and “deplorable betrayal”, and that has raised tensions between those powers.
Washington analyzes all these steps to rule out a threat or even a possible confrontation.
