Polestar 6 EV Concept, profil
Last March, Polestar presented an absolutely spectacular concept, that of a roadster it named O2. Honestly, we didn’t expect this study to go into production, but it will. The company has today confirmed its intention to manufacture the model that will become the Polestar 6.
And beware, we’re talking regarding a car, but we might just as well be talking regarding a grenade; the chip, which will take advantage of a two-motor configuration and offer all-wheel drive, is said to produce 884 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque.
Yes, you read that right. In fact, the model would share its components with the future Polestar 5, a performance-oriented GT sedan. Both models will offer an 800-volt architecture, as well as a unique bonded aluminum chassis that has been developed in-house with the aim of maximizing rigidity while offering extreme lightness.

Polestar hasn’t revealed all the technical information regarding its model, as 2026 is still a long way off, but it did mention that the 0-100 km/h would be erased in just 3.2 seconds and that the maximum speed would be 250 km/h.
Interestingly, the company has announced that when it launches the model for the year 2026, a special edition named LA Concept with a limited run of 500 copies will be offered. This one would offer the unique characteristics of the O2 concept, including the sky blue paint, the 21-inch wheels, as well as the interior in pale leather. It will be remembered that the concept had its own drone. We will see if the latter will be there in 2026.
Incidentally, it is possible to reserve a copy now. The O2 concept will be in town this week in Monterey, California, as part of the celebrations surrounding the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
