Al-Marsad Newspaper: A nursing consultant, Dr. Ahmed Abu Shaika, revealed that the nursing profession has no unemployment rate and is one of the most in-demand professions.
In his interview with Al-Monitor, Abu Shaika said that 37% of the nursing profession are Saudis, pointing out that non-working nurses do not work willingly, pointing out that there is no unemployment in nursing and that “the nurse requires appointment and specialization, and the demand for it is very high.”
He added that the nursing field in the Kingdom needs 40,000 Saudi nurses, and this is a very large number compared to the number of current graduates.
