The girl went on dates with men, persuaded them to buy NieR: Automata, and then ignored them

Video game ad campaigns come in all shapes and sizes, but a girl named Jen seems to have found a hit below the belt. She tweeted that she went on dates through the dating app Tinder and advertised to men during the first meeting NieR: Automata.

She then simply ignored them. So through it “passed” 22 people. All in order for the Yoko Taro game to have more sales.

These men then actually bought the game to impress the girl and even went to different endings. Moreover, the girl herself is literally obsessed with the world of Yoko Taro. You just look at this “altar” in her room.

The game became an important part of her life when Jen was severely depressed and suicidal due to bullying and domestic abuse. She watched the streams and especially liked the phrase: “The future is not given to you. This is something that you have to take yourself.”

She began to look for men on Tinder who would share her passion for the game, but more often than not, if they knew regarding the title, they would just talk a little regarding it. Other guys even bought the game, but seemed to demand something in return, although she never said what game they would get sex for and there was not even a hint of it. She eventually disappeared and began to ignore each of them.

At some point, she got tired of trying to find a favorite on Tinder and found like-minded people on Discord. One guy even lives next to her. In fact, this is all a sad story with a happy ending regarding a girl who was helped out of her depression by a game.

NieR: Automata available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
