The murder of the septuagenarian in El Callao was clarified this Tuesday by a commission attached to the Body of Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc); and it was learned that the perpetrator of the crime would be the son of the victim.
According to information from the institution, Alfredo Laureano Martínez Palomino, 70 years old, was in the Los Rieles sector with his 18-year-old son EM, consuming alcoholic beverages.
Being in a high level of drunkenness, they began a strong argument that ended when EM took a machete and gave multiple injuries to his father’s head and arms.
The septuagenarian was transferred by his relatives to the Dr. Juan Germán Roscio hospital, where he died a few minutes following being admitted to the emergency room.

The arrest of the murderer took place in the Los Rieles sector. In the course of the procedure, the commission seized the murder weapon from the citizen. The case was made available to the Fifth Prosecutor of the Public Ministry.
