Police said they received a report last Friday (12th) that a man suspected of molesting a 6-year-old girl on a street in Sau Mau Ping District.

After investigating and reviewing a large number of CCTV records, the Sau Mau Ping Divisional Task Force arrested a 34-year-old man surnamed Law on Kwun Tong Road today (15th) for indecent assault. The case was handed over to the Sau Mau Ping Police District Criminal Investigation Team No. 1 A team followed up the investigation. The arrested persons are being detained for investigation.
Police reiterate that indecent assault is a serious crime that carries a maximum penalty of imprisonment upon conviction10In this year, the public should not try the law by themselves.
