Mohamed Ibrahim, the general supervisor of sports programs on Egyptian television, responded to the statements of Mr. Murad, the former supervisor of the video referee technology WASIn the Referees Committee of the Football Association.
Mr. Murad had spoken yesterday, Sunday, regarding the causes of the technical problems of the WASIn Egypt, including the lack of coordination with the match photographers on their concentration during the matches and their failure to train them in the correct transfer of the games that the referee needs to return to watch once more to ensure their authenticity.
Speaking on Mega FM radio, Mohamed Ibrahim said: “This season, 99.5% of all matches are transmitted by FM technology. HDAnd in units looking for 4kOf course, this is a technique for the first time that happened in Egypt, and the picture remains a difference.
He added: “The distribution of cameras is paper approved by the Football Association and sent by official faxes, distributing cameras from the first 6 cameras to 10 cameras in matches like Al-Ahly and Zamalek and the important matches, we transfer them with 22 cameras. Abdel-Fattah is talking to me personally, and I challenge anyone to answer me for one match in which the cameras’ plan has changed for any match in the league.”
He continued: “Gentlemen photographers do a rehearsal before the match with the mouse, within two hours or two and a half hours, in order to see what the referee of the mouse wants from each camera and do a rehearsal before each match.
Regarding the photographers and directors not coordinating with the referees of the mouse, Ibrahim said: “The beginning of the dialogue in 2020 was Captain Wajih Ahmed asked me and we sold them to Cairo Stadium, because the lectures sold us the photographers and directors on the day that his request was to request them with official paper and we sold them and then they asked for something else.”
And Muhammad Ibrahim concluded his speech: “The director has no relationship with the mouse technology. If a match moves with 10 cameras, all the cameras will be with the mouse. After the Al-Ahly and Al-Masry match, all the work team turned to legal affairs and we admitted the error because it is possible, but I did not get into any other match.”
