Minecraft player has been mining the same map for five years – there is almost nothing left

Map Minecraft huge. So huge that it is difficult to imagine its scale – most players generate new worlds without exploring and extracting everything that is hidden under the surface. However, one Minthical YouTuber has set himself an incredibly ambitious goal.

Unlike most news Minecraftwhich are regarding creating something interesting, beautiful, complex or innovative, in this case it is regarding the scale of “destruction”.

For the last five years, Minthical has been clearing every block on an 862 by 862 map with 64 blocks of sea level. This is approximately 47 million blocks. Last week, on August 12, a gamer posted a video demonstrating the progress of this incredible challenge.

In the video, the gamer talks regarding the number of blocks, how the process went, and details regarding the scale. But the most important thing is that the player predicted the end date – somewhere in September the last block will be destroyed.

However, if you don’t have the patience to do the same manually, you can always enter a console command. Well, or use mods with cheats.
