The Dakahlia Security Directorate also received a notification from the warden of the Manzala police station, stating that a report had been received from a worker accusing a gynecologist and obstetrician of causing the death of his wife as a result of a medical error.

A security force moved from the Manzala Police Department to the accused hospital, where the husband recounted that he had taken his wife to the private medical center in order to deliver her, only to be told by the doctor that she would give birth by caesarean section.

He added that the doctor performed a caesarean section for her, and she returned to her home, following days of severe abdominal pain, so he took her to the hospital to check on her.

At that time, the tests confirmed the presence of a “towel” inside her stomach, which caused her to have pus, a deterioration in the immune system and blood poisoning, and she died a few hours later.
