The PS Plus Extra and Premium free games catalog is changing. In August, new games are to be discovered.
San Mateo – In June, Sony changed its PS Plus subscription by adding two new subscription models. On the one hand the PS Plus Extra and on the other hand the PS Plus Premium. While the Extra tier includes a catalog of over 400 PS4 and PS5 games, Premium tier subscribers* have access to games from the PS1, PS2 and PS3 generation. Sony has now announced the new games for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers* in August 2022. With over 11 games announced by Sony, there are also some highlights.

PS Plus Extra and Premium: these games will be added in August 2022
Here are the highlights: Not once, not twice, but three times: in August 2022, three times Yakuza are waiting for subscribers*. With Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2, you can fulfill your Japanese crime family fantasies. Other Yakuza titles will follow once more this year on PS Plus. Another highlight for August is the 1v4 multiplayer game Dead by Daylight, not to mention Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands from Ubisoft. But that’s not all for PS5 and PS4 fans, the August releases for PS Plus Extra and Premium are also these games:

Release of new games: The new games for PS Plus Extra and Premium will be added to over 400 other games on August 16. They will be available as a free download for subscribers* from that date.
