A nurse died at the Mental Health Hospital in Shebin El-Kom, Menoufia Governorate, today, Sunday, while he was at work inside the hospital.
The nurse’s colleagues found him unconscious on the floor in one of the hospital rooms, and his examination revealed that he had died of a sharp drop in blood circulation.
The Director of Menoufia Security received a notification of the death of Atef El-Silkawi, 34, a nurse at the Mental Health Hospital in Shebin El-Koum, due to a severe drop in blood circulation.
Doctors in the hospital confirmed that they tried to rescue him following finding him lying in one of the hospital rooms, but he died immediately following his fall, amid a state of sadness among the hospital staff, as he had a good reputation and good morals.
For her part, Dr. Hana Sorour, a member of the House of Representatives, issued a statement mourning the death of the nurse.
