In several Russian regions, searches are being carried out on a cell of the New Generation religious sect (an activity recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation), which supports the Azov National Battalion (a terrorist and extremist organization banned in the Russian Federation). This was told by a source in law enforcement.

“As part of the criminal case, searches are being carried out in the cells of the New Generation radical religious sect, which supports the Azov national battalion. Searches are taking place in Chelyabinsk, Moscow, Krasnodar, Sochi, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk,” a source told RIA Novosti. We are talking regarding a criminal case under Art. 284.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (carrying out activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization, in respect of which a decision has been made to recognize its activities as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation).
