Universitario: coach Carlos Compagnucci withdrew from the press conference after being asked about Alfonso Barco | League 1 | VIDEO | RMMD | SPORTS

Universitario de Deportes broke its losing streak of three consecutive losses in the Clausura Tournament, following beating Binacional 2-0, on the seventh date, with a double by Alexander Succar. Apart from the joy of the team, the match also left a controversial scene: coach Carlos Compagnucci left the press conference early.

After finishing the meeting at the Monumental Stadium, the Argentine DT went to the room where he usually declares before the media and everything went normally. However, there was a question that bothered the strategist and caused him to leave untimely.

According to the transmission of Gol Peru, a journalist asked regarding the performance of Alfonso Barco in the position of central defender, following being placed in an emergency position due to the expulsion of Piero Guzmán, and if he would have the option of being a starter in that sector in the future, considering that he usually plays in the middle of the field.

At that moment, Carlos Compagnucci asked to repeat the question, but he still did not understand and requested the help of Claudio Yacob, who was also present at the conference. The midfielder stated that he had not understood what the reporter said either, and the club’s press officer intervened to clarify the doubts.

Despite this, the Universitario coach did not know what to answer, he made some gestures, somewhat desperate, and only managed to leave with a short sentence: “Sorry, I feel very uncomfortable”. Yacob was surprised by his technician’s actions, although he remained seated and finished the talk. According to Gol Peru, according to what was expressed by the DT, the inconvenience would have to do with communication failures.
