Citizens from various areas of the country, including Caracas, reported a strong electrical fluctuation at 3:30 in the followingnoon, immediately followingwards the service failed in cities.
This was announced through social networks. In Caracas the downturn was accompanied by rains. Different sectors of the Libertador municipality are in the dark.
There were also failures in Mérida, Miranda, Zulia, Vargas, Trujillo, Táchira, Anzoátegui, Carabobo and Barinas.

Through social networks they reported that the substation that is at kilometer 12 of the El Junquito parish exploded.
The same was confirmed by the Minister of Electric Energy, Néstor Reverol, through a contact with Venezolana de Televisión. Apparently it was due to an “atmospheric event”.
In addition, they have already recovered the service in the Capital region and within an hour in the other states of the country.
