Youth gatherings in Hezbollah’s first Jabal Amel area held a symbolic stand in front of the memorial of martyr Ahmed Qasir at the site of his martyrdom operation in 1982 at the entrance to the city of Tyre, under the title “We are all Ahmed Qasir,” with the participation of a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Sheikh Hassan Ezz Religion, representatives of Lebanese and Palestinian civil and youth associations, and cultural, social, literary and artistic events and personalities.
After reciting clear verses from the Noble Qur’an, Izz al-Din said: “The martyr Ahmed Qasir, the son of 18, was full of life, hope, strength, ability, determination, and the spirit that was between his sides. And the western Bekaa, and continues its occupation, aggression and criminality, reaching Beirut and occupying the second Arab capital following Jerusalem. This young man who felt with his brothers and companions on his path and with those who were with him at that stage and with his family who also lived from scholars and cultural, political and intellectual elites, and saw with their own eyes the extent to which this enemy desecrated the land, dignity, honor and pride, might no longer stand his spirit that is between his sides, so he decided to be The first martyr martyr, because he realized at that moment that Lebanon would enter a new era, the era of Zionism, and the era of Lebanon’s annexation of this Israeli entity that dominated all the Arab, local and international climate.”
And he continued: “Martyr Ahmed felt that the only action that can restore a person to himself, his faith, his ability and his strength, and restore confidence between those who decided to resist this enemy, and the frustration, defeat, humiliation and humiliation they live through, is the martyrdom act that he committed of his own free will. He smiles and sees his status in the followinglife.
And Izz El-Din added, “Martyr Ahmed accepted the martyrdom act to assure us, the Lebanese and the Arabs that there is no place for this occupation as long as we have blood flowing in our veins, and we have a beating heart, and that we cannot leave this enemy to be content with its occupation, its aggression and its criminality. Entirely in this pure land, the land of Jabal Amel and the city of Tyre, the city of the honorable and imams Sharaf al-Din and al-Sadr and the martyr Haitham Dabouq and all the martyrs who joined Ahmed Qasir.”
And he said: “The martyrdom operation of the martyr Ahmed surprised the enemy, shocked and stunned him, and everyone knows the number of casualties he inflicted, between dead and wounded, and perhaps at that stage it is one of the biggest and greatest operations in which the enemy loses this number of officers and soldiers and the destruction that left him, and that is why this was foiled. The enemy, and the path of the martyr Ahmed Qasir began, and the resistance began, and it grew, and today it has become the resistance that is proud and proud of it and all the martyrs who fell, knowing that the leaders of this march fell while they were young, and they gave the flower of their lives for the sake of liberating this land, and for Palestine.”
He pointed out that “the blood of Palestine is mixed today with the blood of Lebanon, and therefore we also find that the will of the martyr Ibrahim al-Nabulsi is not to leave this rifle, and the commandment of the martyr Sayyid Abbas al-Mousawi was to preserve this resistance, because it is the only option that restores Palestine and liberates it completely, and the option that restores rights for the people of Palestine, and returns the Palestinians to their country and homeland.”
He said: “We affirm in this event, Palestinians, Lebanese and Arabs, and wherever we are throughout the vast Arab world, that we are an arena and one resistance and one goal, which we are moving towards, which is the liberation of Palestine. We will protect this resistance, which will remain the title that unites and cherishes us, and through it we reach our rights.”
Ezz El-Din concluded by addressing the youth: “Read carefully in the spirit and biography of the martyr Ahmed Qasir and his martyred brothers, and in the biography of the martyr Ibrahim al-Nabulsi and all those who fell on the path of martyrdom and martyrdom for the sake of Palestine and the liberation of this land. And we hand it over from generation to generation, and liberation will be in the end for all the weak, the oppressed and the oppressed from the oppressors, tyrants and occupiers, and victory is coming, and we will pray in Jerusalem all, God willing.”
Finally, the participants painted the picture of the martyr Ahmed Kassir on a giant mural that included words and sayings confirming the completion of the martyrs’ march, adhering to the choice of resistance to liberate the land, and confront the Israeli enemy and its greed on land and sea. The organizers also brought a white “Peugeot” car in an indication of the car he used The martyr was short in his martyrdom operation, and the headquarters of the military governor at that time was destroyed.
