New developments in the case of the killing of the Egyptian media figure, Shaima Gamal, and the accused confess

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Giza Criminal Court in Egypt decided to postpone the trial of the accused, Ayman Hajjaj and Hussein Al-Garabli, who are being held in pretrial detention for the premeditated murder of broadcaster Shaima Gamal, to the August 15 session.

The trial was postponed following the receipt of the psychiatric and forensic report.

The first accused, Ayman Abdel Tawab, confessed to killing Shaima Gamal, before the Sixth Circuit of the Giza Criminal Court, but he denied intentionally killing her, while the second denied participating in the killing.

The second defendant, Hussein Al-Garabli, in the incident of the murder of the media, Shaima Jamal, a friend of Judge Ayman Hajjaj, who is accused of killing the anchor, famous for the heroin announcer, made detailed confessions regarding the incident, its circumstances and circumstances, how it was planned and implemented, how he tried to hide the crime, and the reasons that led him to confess to the crime.

The judge’s partner accused of killing Shaima Jamal said: “After the people finished, he sat with me, and he was threatening me and saying that if I told what happened, this matter would not help me well. These words, since the day of the incident, I do not know how to sleep during the day, and I am not carrying the detectives. If I were arrested, I might collapse and say everything,” according to the Cairo 24 website.

He added, “He was afraid and told me, “I am your husband, and you will disappear for three days in a village on the North Coast, and indeed, someone called and booked a chalet for me in a village called Venice on the North Coast, and said, prepare yourself to travel, and indeed we went back to the cafe on Al-Libini Street and we sat there and there was one of the cameras next to it.” The café, I would agree with him that he would install cameras for him on the farm, and following that he called someone whose name was almost Hazem.”
