A career in the banking sector.. the most prominent information about the new Minister of Tourism and Antiquities

The House of Representatives, in its urgent session called by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, announced the renewal of confidence in the government of Dr. The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

In the following lines, we will publish the biography of Ahmed Issa, the new minister, and his most prominent professional stations.

• Ahmed Issa has held the position of CEO of Retail Banking at Commercial International Bank since 2016.

• He also served as a member of the Executive Management Committee of the Commercial International Bank, and Chairman of the Banking and Finance Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Internal Trade Development Authority, and a member of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Holding Company.

• Ahmed Issa began his career in 1993, and held several leadership positions in the Commercial International Bank, the most important of which are the Head of the Financial Sector, Head of Research at the CIB Brokerage Company, Head of Strategic Planning between 2003 and 2008, and Managing Director of the Commercial Bank Company. International Investment Banking Services “CI Capital” between 2005 and 2010, and head of the financial institutions group in the corporate finance sector between 2010 and 2011, chief financial officer between 2011 and 2015, head of the distribution and branches department during 2015, and executive vice president of the retail banking sector between 2015 and 2016.

• He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of (Corelis Company) between 2013 and 2015, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Falcon Group of companies between 2012 and 2014, and chaired the Audit Committee of the “Civil Aviation Financial Holding Company” and was one of its board members.
