Motorola, a Chinese subsidiary of Lenovo, announced on the 11th that the third-generation foldable smartphone ‘Laser 2022’, which was unveiled on the 11th, has surpassed sales of 10,000 units within 5 minutes of launch.
The launch price of ‘Laser 2022’ in China starts at 5999 yuan (regarding 1.14 million won). On the other hand, the Chinese price of the competing model, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, is said to start at 8,499 yuan (regarding 1.61 million won).
‘Laser 2022’ is equipped with a 6.7-inch foldable P-OLED display that supports FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 144Hz refresh rate on the front, and a 2.7-inch G-OLED display on the rear.
Inside, it has a Snapdragon 8+ 1st generation, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 3500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
‘Laser 2022’ is also scheduled to be released in the global market, but the exact release date has not yet been disclosed. The second sale of ‘Laser 2022’ will be held on the 16th.
