At Pyeongtaek Station, Gyeonggi Province, a complaint was received that a man abused a dog, and the police launched an investigation. The man is said to have even cursed, saying, “What does it have to do with you?” when a public official nearby stopped him.
According to the police on the 13th, the Pyeongtaek Police Station received a complaint requesting that Mr. A be punished for violating the Animal Protection Act and is investigating. Person A is accused of abusing a small dog at around 10 am on the 2nd at Pyeongtaek Station.
This information became known when the animal rights group Care released a video of Mr. A on Facebook the day before. In the video, Mr. A gave a shock, such as slamming the bag containing the dog on the information board. When a railroad official said, “What’s wrong with the dog, what is he doing?” It was reported that he sweared at him by saying, “Hey, what’s wrong with you, my dog?”
Another official approached the puppy and threw the puppy to the floor saying, “Don’t touch my puppy.” Even following the police arrived, the abuse of Mr. A continued. He grabbed the dog’s leash and lifted it into the air.
A police official said, “We are currently investigating the case following receiving a related complaint.”
