Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Marcos Alonso’s transfer to Barcelona is close to the last frills to be officially announced.
Barcelona has entered into negotiations to sign the Spanish left-back since the beginning of the summer transfer market, but the deal has not been completed until this moment.
The Spanish international did not participate with Chelsea in the first week of the English Premier League once morest Everton in the Blues’ 1-0 victory, at Goodison Park.

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed the departure of Marcos Alonso in front of the media, in statements carried by Fabrizio Romano, the Italian transfer specialist.
And the German coach said regarding the future of Marcos Alonso: “Alonso is not training because he is waiting to complete his transfer. Everything was agreed with Barcelona a week ago, and now it is expected that it will be officially done.”

Alonso’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season, as the 31-year-old has spent seven years with Chelsea since joining them from Fiorentina in the summer of 2016.
