Ski: The World Cup loses a traditional place with Lake Louise

World Cup races have been held in Lake Louise in the Canadian Rocky Mountains for over 40 years. But that will soon be over. In the coming season, races will be held at this traditional location for the last time – at least for the time being. The Canadians are no longer interested in holding the events, according to the “Tiroler Tageszeitung”.

ÖSV Alpine boss Herbert Mandl confirms this to “Laola1″. “This is also confirmed by the FIS. Lake Louise will have an additional men’s race this year, but it will no longer appear on the calendar overall,” said Mandl.
